Welcome to Mint House Phoenix – Midtown

Mint House Phoenix – Midtown offers a modern, apartment-style stay that blends comfort with convenience in one of Phoenix’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Located at 100 W Catalina Dr, this property holds a solid 4.1-star rating, reflective of its well-appointed units and prime location near cultural hotspots like the Phoenix Art Museum and Heard Museum.

Guests appreciate the spacious, fully equipped kitchens in every apartment, making longer stays feel like a home away from home. The inclusion of amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fitness center, outdoor pool, and hot tub add layers of relaxation and activity options for visitors. Some highlight the accessibility of in-unit laundry with provided washing pods and communal spaces like the rooftop grill deck, ideal for quiet evenings or quality time with loved ones.

The location stands out as a strong advantage. It places guests within walking distance of eclectic dining, local markets, and charming residential areas. This makes Mint House Phoenix – Midtown a go-to for business travelers on extended trips, hospital visitors seeking proximity, or tourists wanting an immersive urban experience.

However, like any urban lodging, there are nuances. Some guests mention the absence of a traditional front desk and the need for patience during check-in, underscoring the importance of reviewing Mint House’s welcome communications beforehand. Noise can occasionally be a factor, especially on the north side of the building where nightlife venues emit music late into the night, but the provided white noise machines attempt to counterbalance this.

With paid parking options, accessible facilities, and a smoke-free environment, the hotel aligns well with the needs of many modern travelers. Though it lacks pet-friendliness and airport shuttle services, its strengths in comfort, location, and thoughtful amenities outweigh these limitations.

Ultimately, Mint House Phoenix – Midtown stands as a polished, contemporary space that invites guests to live rather than just stay, blending the energy of Midtown Phoenix with the privacy and convenience of apartment living. It suits those who appreciate a balance of culture, accessibility, and well-curated comfort in a dynamic city setting.

You get a lot for your money here. Great place and location. Checking in takes a little patience though, so be prepared for that. Make sure you read the welcome text/email that Mint House sends you, but still reserve some patience. There are no signs leading to the fitness center you will have to search for it on the first floor. You have to go out to the pool area then through another door and eventually you'll find what could be a storage closet door and it has a sign on it that says Fitness. Also you won't come in on the indoor elevator you come in from the parking garage so you'll need to explore the 3rd floor until you find the indoor elevators.

Great place for a long term business trip stay. If your staying longer than a week I recommend going to the parking garage office and getting a monthly parking pass its only $50 a month and pays for itself in 4 days.

This experience was great with one big exception. The rooms on the north side of the building are across from a bar/restaurant that played loud music until after midnight on both nights we stayed there. Locale provides good quality white noise machines in the bedrooms, but that wasn't enough to drown out the music. One night it was a live band, the next night it was a DJ. Otherwise this is a fantastic place to stay if you can handle a few weird check-in procedures with codes and electronic key boxes. One other disappointment was that Locale charged me $30 per day for parking. Upon arrival, I realized that locale uses a public parking ramp that only charges $15 per 24 hours, so that felt like a rip-off. The apartment had so many amenities compared to a hotel: full kitchen, tons of towels, washer/dryer! The pool and hot tub were nice. The building is a new build and that means it's in great condition and feels much cleaner than any other place we've stayed. Both times I needed assistance I got it immediately via text and phone. I would definitely go back if they can promise a room that doesn't face the music.

This well appointed apartment for rent was perfect for staying close to the hospital while my mom was in recovery post surgery!! Great location for the hospital and some nice little restaurants that are within walking distance. I didn't explore too much but I found that even the little liquor/market store to be wel stocked and friendly. Regarding the apartment, one only needs to bring your own toothbrush and conditioner; otherwise, it has everything! Even a washer/dryer closet with detergent. I didn't get to take advantage of the amenities (pool, sky deck, pool table, lounge, or gym) but I truly enjoyed having somewhere to cook my own meals and shower in a place that felt like a second home.

This is apartments. There is no front desk. The rooms, building and amenities were great. I only used the hot tub, but there was fitness and lounge area, indoor on first floor and rooftop on 4. The location in fantastic. 5 pretty good restaurants within a block.

Great place to spend quality time with your loved one. Laundry was in-unit and washing pods were provided, super convenient. Staff was friendly and building was quiet. Used the grill on the sky deck and had a lovely dinner on the deck. Everything was clean and the kitchen had utensils, plates, cookware and a dishwasher. No spices or condiments but there is a big fridge. Best place I’ve stayed in Arizona, you definitely get your money’s worth and more. Great experience overall with Mint House. The staff onsite and offsite were very helpful. I will be returning! This was a huge perk that was left out by Mint House: You can take the Metro to/from Sky Harbor Airport. It was so helpful to not have to navigate uber or pickup in the mess that is PHX. Pleasant ride that drops you right across the street from Park Central’s Aspire Building in which Mint House is located. Parking is in a secure garage and is $15/day.
